All State 2018

Congratulations to the five singers and instrumentalists from Wicomico County Public Schools whose talents have earned them selection to the Maryland All State Ensembles along with other top performers from throughout the state.

WCPS students traveled across the bridge in November to audition for All State Ensembles, and heard the good news a couple of weeks later. In early March, they will spend three days in Baltimore for All State rehearsals. At the end of the weekend they will take part in the All State performances during the Maryland Music Educators Association Annual Conference.

WCPS is proud to have these five students represent Wicomico County Public Schools and the school system’s music education program. Music education opportunities in Wicomico Schools and WCPS music educators are top-notch: Wicomico County Public Schools has received the NAMM Foundation’s Best Communities for Music Education recognition eight of the past 11 years, including in 2017.
