Results from 2017 Delmarvacade of Bands
Congratulations to WiHi, JMB and Parkside on Great Performances at Delmarvacade 2017

Parkside High School Marching Rams and Band Boosters hosted the 40th annual Delmarvacade of Bands Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Wicomico County Stadium. Fourteen Maryland and Delaware marching bands competed with their field shows, and Parkside High as host performed in exhibition in this scored Tournament of Bands event.

WiHi Band

Wicomico High School presented its 2017 field show “Dreams,” under the direction of Band Director Mark Pages.The Wicomico High School Marching Band finished 1st in 3-A competition, with a score of 87.435 and award for High Percussion.


JMB Band

The James M. Bennett High School Clipper Marching Band and Color Guard presented its 2017 field show “The Hope of Spring” at the Delmarvacade of Bands. The JMB Marching Band and Color Guard earned a score if 88.8 and 2nd Place in Group 3-Open competition.

Parkside Band

Delmarvacade of Bands host Parkside High School completed the evening of 15 marching band field shows with an exhibition of the Marching Rams 2017 field show “Asylum," under the direction of Band Director Kevin Zaczkiewicz.  As host Parkside High didn’t compete for placement in the competition, but the Rams did march for a Tournament of Bands score of 89.50 in the Group 3-Open class.
